I grew up in Newark, Ohio but spent 15 years living in Seattle & Olympia, Washington. I absolutely LOVE the PNW mountains & ocean! I spent time traveling & living abroad, which had a huge impact on my worldview & walk of faith. 3 years ago I came back to Ohio & have found a home in Akron. You will often find me immersed in nature & talking with God, especially along waterways. I love the arts & see the world through a creative lens. I thoroughly enjoy walking alongside Seniors & being part of our Hearty Helpers community! It's such a blessing to hear each person's unique story, offer spiritual support as needed & find creative ways to continue to find joy & awe in the day to day experiences, especially when life brings challenges.

My name is Natalie Grant. I am from, as well as live in, Akron, Ohio. I have two son's. I love to spend my time with my boys taking them to the park to play sports and play on the playground during the summer. In the winter we love to watch movies. I also love to spend my time to myself. During that time I like to go shopping and to relax at home to read a good book or watch a good TV show. I have been working with senior citizens for almost 10 years. I love that I can help senior citizens live a quality life as they get older. It is rewarding. Senior citizens are still able to be independent just with a little assistance from myself. It is a wonderful feeling that I am able to support senior citizens in anything they still want to do in their life. I am able to have a special bond and friendship with them that compares to no other. I also value the wisdom and life experiences they bring.
